That's why I offer a customizable process that allows you to create the ring of your dreams, from selecting the perfect center stone to adding personalized engravings. Let's dive into the details of the customization process.
Step 1: Choose Your Favorite Design

Here, you can explore various styles and standard pricing options, giving you the opportunity to find the perfect ring that speaks to your heart. Whether you prefer classic elegance or modern sophistication, I have a design that will capture your imagination.
Step 2: Customize Your Stones
A.) Choose a fully set diamond type: My standard fully set natural and lab-grown diamonds are G color, VS clarity and are laser-inscribed with a serial number that matches its own GIA or IGI certified grading report. I provide basic educational information about the differences between natural and lab-grown diamonds. I also have an interactive educational guide to the 4 C’s (Carat, Clarity, Color, and Cut) to assist you in selecting the perfect stone, which can be found here. If you would like further assistance determining which stone is the best choice, please email me and I will guide you to the perfect stone.
B.) Customize a Design: Simply contact me via email to initiate your special request, customization of an unset ring design starts at $1,200. I'll source stones on a case-by-case basis. Once the requested stones are finalized a formal quote will be provided. When choosing your proposal date please keep in mind that stone sourcing will require additional time than my standard 6 to 8 week lead time.
Stone customization can be incorporated into the design by choosing a gemstone for the center stone and/or surrounding accent stones. Any diamond of your choice can also be incorporated into the ring design to fit within your budget. I do incorporate heirloom stones in the center of the ring design, but I do not use them for any of the accent stones. The accent stones used will be chosen based on your center stone’s color and clarity.
For heirloom stones I recommend contacting me to purchase a semi-set mounting so that a local jeweler can set it. This will prevent anything unfortunate happening to your stone such as being lost or damaged in transit. Alternatively, you can contact me to provide shipping instructions to send the loose stone or fully set heirloom jewelry piece. Upon receiving your package my team will remove the desired center stone from the original setting. From there the stone will be set into the new ring design. When your order is complete your new ring as well as the original heirloom jewelry setting will be shipped back to you fully insured.
Any of my designs can be transformed into a necklace or a pair of earrings. You can enhance your ring by adding additional stones to the band or by adding a sentimental engraving. Further customization is available upon request.
If you have your own design in mind, please feel free to contact me with examples for my reference of what you are envisioning. If it is within my oeuvre of work, I charge a non-refundable concept design fee of $100 to start the process.
My concept design process involves providing you with a few sketches on paper. From there if you would like to proceed with a CAD rendering of one or more designs, I would charge a $85 non-refundable CAD fee for each requested design. After the first rendering has been proofed to you, you are welcome to make as many revisions as needed until we achieve your desired design. Lead time for CAD renderings is roughly 7 - 10 business days. Once the design details are finalized, I will be able to source stones and provide you with a quote.
Step 3: Purchase Your Ring
Once you've finalized your design details and stone selections, it's time to purchase your ring. You have the option to pay in full or finance your ring using Shop Pay installments. Whichever option you choose, rest assured that your order will be officially placed once full payment is received.
Step 4: Production Process
Each ring at Katie Brooke Designs is custom made-to-order with meticulous attention to detail. The production process typically takes approximately 6 to 8 weeks. During this time, my team of skilled artisans will cast the resin of your specified design into gold, set the stones, and meticulously clean and polish the finished ring to perfection.
Step 5: Quality Check & Shipping
When your ring is ready to symbolize the beginning of your forever journey together, I conduct a thorough quality check to ensure that it meets the highest standards of craftsmanship. I'll even provide you with images of the finished piece before carefully packaging and shipping it fully insured with tracking to your desired location. An adult's signature will be required upon delivery.
